Reflection of Life
Our Beloved Carmen Marie Williams, born to Sandra and Arthur Hill on June 4, 1973, in Canton, Ohio. She
passed away unexpectedly on October 23, 2022. Carmen was a lucky one, who found her purpose in life,
which was to love the Lord and spread His Word faithfully. She had an endless prayer list that grew with
each person that she met.
Carmen also had many passions. An avid cook, she loved to feed everyone, from the needy to the greedy.
She enjoyed volunteering for events with her church family, and working with people of all ages. Carmen
was a songbird. She started off singing in the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church children's choir, with
encouragement from her mother. This ignited her soul to sing in the Leila Green Talent show, where she
and a few friends won first place singing, "Tomorrow", by The Winans. She sang on praise teams,
weddings, mass choirs, and anywhere she was, including her hospital bed.
Carmen was a nurturer who had a zest for life. She gave birth to two premature baby boys, Thevenin and
Trenton. To love her babies to good health, she practically lived in the NICU for months. She raised two
strong-willed, independent young men and would sacrifice her last to ensure they had everything they
needed. Her sons were her world. Carmen grew to love and care for many children and godchildren in
her lifetime. This is where she earned the name, "TT Carmen."
At the age of 36, Carmen followed her heart to Wichita, Kansas to be with her soulmate, Tito Williams.
They blended their families, and Carmen loved his children Isaiah, Jasmyne, and Noah like her own. The
perfect partners for one another, they were inseparable. They did everything together from traveling the
country to starting their business, Summa Dat T & C Foods, LLC. Deeply connected, they overcame
obstacles together.
As a wife, Carmen was a Godly example of Proverbs 31. She was his precious jewel, a strong and
supportive wife. Tito had never loved a woman like he loved Carmen. He truly loved and took care of her
in sickness and in health. Carmen often said that she would die loving and being in love with Tito.
Everything they did, they did "good and right."
Carmen is preceded in death by her parents: Arthur and Sandra Hill; son: Thevenin Terrell; (3) baby
brothers; niece: Chabreya Campbell; great niece and nephew: Nevaeh and Rico; brother-in-law: Montez
James.
Cherishing her memory are husband: Tito "Mr. Williams";sons: Trenton Terrell, Isaiah and Noah Williams;
daughter: Jasmyne Williams; sisters: Regina Peterson, Carla (Abou) Ba, Lacreasha (Kevin) Thomas,
Donesha Hill, Jessica Duckett, Ventrual Duckett, and Angela Williams; brothers: Eric (Cheryl) Henry, Kevin
Montgomery, John Allen, Earney Duckett, Jr., Theodore Duckett, Bryce Duckett, Tyrone Williams,
and Jermaine Williams; her sweet niece Nisha Louis, and a host of family and friends.
Rest assured; Carmen knew that if she didn't get her healing on Earth then she would receive it when she
got to Glory.
