Billie Louise White was born in Wichita Ks on August , 1953, to Sarah Ray White and Willie White, Jr. As a single mom with her son Chad, Billie met and married the love of her life Eugene Rucker an Airman in the USAF and later another son, Christopher was born to this union. Their Air Force travels took them from McConnell AFB, KS to Kessler AFB in Biloxi, MS, Homestead AFB in Miami, FL and finally to Hurlbert Field AFB. Ft Walton Beach, FL Some people enter our lives for a season. Others leave an imprint on our hearts that lasts a lifetime.

Our beloved Billie was one of those rare people. She was a woman whose life was defined not by titles or accomplishments, but by the love she gave so freely to others. She had a generous spirit, a caring heart, and a way of making people feel seen, welcomed, and important. Family was never simply something she had—it was something she nurtured. When Billie stepped into your life it was with the kind of love, guidance, and support that only a truly special person could provide. 

Through life’s celebrations and challenges, she remained a steady presence, offering wisdom, encouragement, and unconditional love and her ever so present quick wit was often served up with a sharp life lesson but always with love. Those who knew her will remember her kindness, her strength, her devotion to family, and the countless ways she quietly cared for others. She gave of herself without expecting anything in return and touched more lives than she probably ever realized. Billie’s faith was the foundation of her life. She loved the Lord deeply and faithfully served Him for many years as a devoted member of New Testament Community Non-Denominational Church. Her commitment to her faith was evident not only in what she believed, but in how she lived. 

Throughout the years, she served her church in many capacities, always willing to lend a helping hand wherever she was needed. She found joy in serving others, sharing God’s love, and living out her faith through both word and action. Her Christian example left a lasting impression on all who knew her. In recent years, we witnessed the heartbreaking effects of dementia, a disease that gradually steals memories and independence. While dementia changed many things, it never changed the love we felt for her. The disease may have clouded her memories, but it could never diminish the impact she had on the people who loved her. and that quick wit was still intact! She would often tell people she spoke to that her memory was getting so bad, “But it is what it is "Today, we grieve her absence, but we also celebrate a life well lived and a woman well loved. We find comfort in our faith, knowing she is no longer burdened by confusion or illness. She is at peace, restored and whole in the presence of her Savior. The lessons she taught, the love she shared, and the memories she created will remain with us forever.
