Betty J. Barnett - Porter, 84, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2025. Born on the 17th of June 1941, in Vernon, Oklahoma, Betty was the beloved daughter of her late parents.

Her tireless work ethic was evident in her long-standing career in the Board of Education Food Services, where she served as a dedicated cook until her retirement in 1986.

Her memory will be cherished by her children and four grandchildren.

The service to celebrate Betty's life will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Greater Mizpah.

As we say our final goodbyes, we remember Betty not with sadness, but with joy for having been a part of her wonderful journey. Her memory will forever be a beacon of light and love.
