Barbara Jean Jones - Brunson, 87, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2025, in Wichita, Kansas. Born on February 2, 1938, in Hearne, Texas, to Ercell Jones and Josephine Miles, Barbara Jean lived a life filled with love, compassion, and resilience.

Preceded in death by her parents, Ercell and Josephine, Barbara Jean is survived by her only son, Kim Brunson, and his wife, Marcia. Her absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Barbara's life will be celebrated on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the Tabernacle Bible Church. Burial will take place at the Old Mission Cemetery.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during a visitation at Jackson Mortuary Chapel on Friday, June 27, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
