Ashton Josiah Cook, born on November 21, 2022, in Wichita, Kansas, to Martiece & Traneka Cook, has returned to the embrace of the heavens on December 01, 2025. Though his time on this earth was brief, his impact was immeasurable.

His infectious laughter and sweet countenance became a beacon of hope and happiness for all who had the privilege to know him. Despite his young age, Ashton demonstrated an uncanny ability to touch hearts and inspire smiles with his innocent charm.

Ashton is survived by his loving parents, Martiece and Traneka Cook; his caring siblings, Jakia and Aiden Cook; his devoted grandparents and a host of family members who will continue to honor his memory. Each of them played a significant role in Ashton's life, providing love, support, and countless cherished moments that will be forever etched in their hearts.

A Homegoing Service will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the Jackson Mortuary Chapel. Following the service, Ashton will be laid to rest at 1:00 PM at the Winfield Veteran cemetery in Winfield, Kansas.

"We will truly miss your sweet face and laughs, Ashton, but we know that you are in a place of peace now. You have been a blessing, and you will forever remain in our hearts."

In his three years, Ashton taught us about the purity of love, the joy in each moment, and the beauty of life itself. His legacy will remain as an enduring reminder of a life that, though brief, was filled with love and happiness.
