Alfred "Shaun" Mathenia III, aged 57, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2025. Born to Alfred and Wilma Mathenia on November 26, 1967, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Shaun was a cherished member of his community, a caring husband, loving stepfather, doting grandfather, and a devoted brother. Shaun was a man of great character and accomplishment. He was a respected former Spirit Aerosystems D.O.D Specialist, a role he held with dignity and dedication. Shaun is proceeded by his father, leaving behind a legacy of love and strength. He is survived by his loving wife, Eva Mathenia, his two adoring stepdaughters Evana (Marco) Flournoy-Tucker, La'Shae Flournoy of Texas, six cherished grandchildren, who were the light of his life. He also leaves behind his beloved mother Wilma Mathenia, sisters Bonita (Larry) Jackson of North Carolina, Charmaine Betts, Lajuana Mathenia, and brother Tony (Jo) Henderson of Oklahoma, who will miss him dearly.
